The goal
Mark the system’s centenary without producing a commemorative brochure nobody reads. Riders should actually meet the retirees who ran the towers.
What I made
Six monthly profiles — a 1,500-word piece paired with a three-minute film — run online and as QR-linked posters in stations.
What happened
The series tripled the society’s newsletter list and two profiles were syndicated by the city paper. They now commission one new profile a year.
